Our evening venues are booked, and our live music is all set. Have we mentioned that the live music is going to be amazing?
We’ve booked Solomon Douglas to play both evenings. His quartet on Friday night and Swingtet Saturday night. Robert Bell from the Twin Cities Hot Club in Minneapolis will driving up to join Solomon all weekend, and he’s bringing a rhythm section with him. Check out the music page for their bios and some of the events they’ve played.
Our Friday night dance will take place at the Exchange Community Church in Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District. Saturday night, we’ll be on the top floor of the Fort Rouge Legion where Solomon’s Swingtet played for us 5 years ago. Day time and late night venues will be announced soon.
To make all of this amazing happen, we need you to come, dance, and have a grande ‘ol time! Registration and housing will be open soon.
